This site was originally designed and published in 2000.  From 2000-2007, it was an HTML site. With time, updates and reorganization became extremely cumbersome and the calendar almost unmanageable.  In March 2008, the site was given a major overall as a Joomla site.  Joomla is an open source content management system supported by tens of thousands of volunteer developers worldwide.  The system itself and most of the available plug-ins and templates are free of charge.  This wonderful technology has made complex sites like this available and affordable to non-profits and communities such as Fell's Point.
